It all started with a simple craving. My fiance, Tony, casually mentioned that he was in the mood for some ice cream. It’s a request I’ve heard more than once, and honestly, who could blame him? Ice cream has a way of bringing joy to any day. But little did we know, the universe had something far more magical in store for us that evening – something that involved tarot cards, synchronicity, and a sprinkle of cosmic humor.

I had recently gotten my hands on a Stranger Things tarot deck and was eager to share it with Tony. While he’s not a regular tarot reader, he’s always open to exploring new things with me, so when I suggested we pull a card, he was game. As he shuffled the deck, I made a playful comment about how we could see what the cards had to say about his ice cream craving.
With a quick shuffle, Tony pulled the 4th card from the deck.
Now, if you’ve been following along with my journey, you know that the number 4 holds a special meaning for us. It’s one of those numbers that seems to appear at just the right moments – 4, 44, 444, and 4444. So when Tony drew the 4th card, I could already feel the magic unfolding.
The card he pulled was the Ace of Scoops – a playful and whimsical card that speaks of new beginnings, tangible rewards, and the simple pleasures that bring us joy. In traditional tarot, the Ace of Pentacles represents opportunities, prosperity, and the seeds of something new, and here, in the Stranger Things deck, it took the form of an ice cream cone – a reminder that life’s little pleasures are just as valuable as the big rewards.
At that moment, it felt like the universe was speaking directly to Tony’s craving, telling him to enjoy the sweetness of life while trusting that greater things are on the horizon. It was as though the cosmos was affirming that the joy of indulging in something as simple as ice cream could be part of the abundance flowing into our lives.
As if on cue, we decided to go ahead and grab that ice cream. We made our way to the outdoor freezer, and just like that, we indulged in the sweet treat Tony had been craving all along. It felt like the perfect ending to a moment of connection – both with each other and with the magical world around us.
So, while the card was a whimsical and light-hearted reminder, it also carried a deeper message: sometimes, it’s the little pleasures that remind us of the greater abundance to come. Whether it’s a moment of sweetness in a scoop of ice cream or the magic of a tarot card that speaks to our heart, life’s enchantment is always right there, waiting for us to enjoy.
