Connecting with the Universe: Tarot and Self-Discovery

Sometimes, the universe speaks in subtle ways- through the whisper of the wind, the flutter of a bird’s wings, or, as it often does for me, through the mystical cards of tarot and oracle. I recently pulled a spread, allowing my intuition to guide me, each card a piece of the puzzle that leads me on a path I am only beginning to understand. I’d love to share this journey with you and reflect on what the cards revealed.

  1. Page of Wands (Celestial Tarot)

The first card I pulled was the Page of Wands from my beloved Celestial Tarot deck, and instantly, I felt the spark of excitement that this card carries. The Page of Wands is the herald of fresh starts, curiosity, and the energy of new adventures. In many ways, it represents the fire that ignites within us when we begin something new- whether it’s a project, a passion, or a path of self-discovery. The Page encourages us to embrace enthusiasm and be open to the unknown, which feels so fitting in this moment of my life. I’m on the edge of something transformative, and the Page of Wands is reminding me to follow the spark wherever it leads.

2. Kuan Yin (Goddess Guidance Oracle)

Next, I drew the beautiful and compassionate Kuan Yin from the Goddess Guidance Oracle. Kuan Yin, the goddess of mercy and compassion, urges me to soften my heart, both toward others and myself. Life has a way of throwing us curve balls, but the energy of Kuan Yin reminds me that I must approach my journey with gentle grace. Compassion is the balm that heals old wounds, and it’s time to bring that healing energy into every aspect of my life. With this card, I feel the universe inviting me to love deeper, and embrace self-care on a more profound level.

3. Two of Strands (Stranger Things Tarot)

The Two of Strands from the Stranger Things Tarot deck arrived next, symbolizing the crossroads I find myself at. This card speaks of decisions and the anticipation of what lies ahead. There’s a sense of balance, of duality, and of needing to make a choice. Much like the characters of the show, I am standing at the edge of something unknown, and it’s up to me to decide which path to take. The Two of Strands tells me that the right path will require careful consideration, but ultimately, it’s the path that aligns with my soul’s calling.

4. 34 Repetition (Divine Intuition Oracle)

Pulling the 34 Repetition card from the Divine Intuition Oracle was a moment of reflection. This card is about cycles, patterns, and the tendency to repeat things in life. I’ve often wondered why certain themes keep appearing in my journey, and this card provides an answer: perhaps it’s time to break free from the patterns that no longer serve me. The repetition card invites me to look at these cycles closely – whether they are limiting beliefs, old habits, or relationships that need to be released. It’s a powerful reminder that we hold the key to breaking the chains of our past and stepping into the freedom of the present.

5. Obsidian (Angel Dreams Oracle)

From the Angel Dreams Oracle, I pulled the card Obsidian – a powerful stone of protection and shadow work. Obsidian calls for introspection, urging me to look at the things I’ve been avoiding. It’s time to protect my energy and clear away negative influences that may be holding me back. I’ve always been drawn to crystals, and Obsidian’s energy feels like a warm embrace, inviting me to dig deep within, confront the darkness, and transmute it into strength. It’s time for transformation, and Obsidian is guiding me through the shadows toward the light.

6. Retreat Into Nature (Green Man) – (Ascended Masters Oracle)

As I pulled the Green Man card from the Ascended Masters Oracle, I felt the earthly, grounding energy of the natural world surround me. The Green Man calls for a return to nature, to spend time in the quiet beauty of the earth. It’s a gentle nudge to take a step back, to retreat into a sanctuary of trees, flowers, and the gentle rhythms of the natural world. Nature’s healing power is abundant, and this card encourages me to reconnect with the earth to find balance, clarity, and peace. When life feels overwhelming, there’s always solace in nature’s embrace.

7. Death (Lost Tarot of Nostradamus)

The final card I pulled was the Death card from the Lost Tarot of Nostradamus, and though it may seem ominous, it carries a message of profound transformation. Death does not speak of physical death but rather of the death of an old self, of outworn ways of being, and the emergence of something new. As I stand on the threshold of this unknown path, this card tells me that I am shedding the old to make way for the new. Change is inevitable, and though it may feel uncomfortable, it’s necessary for growth. The Death card is an invitation to embrace the transformation and trust that what lies ahead is far more aligned with my higher purpose.

The Journey Ahead

This reading, a beautiful mix of spiritual guidance, offers me a deep reflection on my path forward. It speaks of new beginnings, the need for compassion, and a powerful reminder that I must break free from the old cycles. It’s about decision-making, protection, and trusting the transformation process that’s unfolding.

I’m feeling called to step into the unknown with confidence, knowing that the universe is guiding me, even if I can’t see the full picture yet. The whispers of the cards are gentle, yet firm, and I know that whatever comes next is meant to be.

Are you ready to embrace your journey, wherever it leads? Let the cards guide you, too – each one holds a piece of the magic that awaits.
