As the sun reaches its peak and the wheel of the year turns once more, I’m taking a moment to pause, reflect, and honor all that I’ve been building — quietly, steadily, and passionately.

The Summer Solstice is a time to celebrate light, growth, and the fire that fuels us forward. And for me, it’s also a time to look back on the path I’ve been walking, even when no one was watching.

Over the past year, I’ve been growing — not just spiritually, but professionally, creatively, and personally.

 I maintain a full-time day job in accounting, where I stay grounded and focused.

 I show up daily in my role as a stepmom — a role that challenges me, changes me, and teaches me so much about love and resilience.

 I continue to nurture my blog, LexTalk, where I write about everything from true crime to tarot and the paranormal to personal growth.

 I’ve stepped into the world of YouTube, creating content that’s heartfelt, real, and uniquely me.

 I run my Etsy shop, filled with digital products made for mystery-minded misfits and modern witches alike.

 I joined the Amazon Associates Program, learning how to share products I love with intention and purpose.

 And most recently, I’ve begun laying the foundation for my very own podcast — a project close to my heart that’s coming soon.

It’s a lot to juggle, but I wouldn’t trade it. Every creative endeavor, every post, every product, every video — it’s all part of my soul’s work. And as the sun stands still today, I’m reminded to trust my momentum… and trust my inner fire.

Face the sun and take three deep breaths.

Hold your palms open to receive the day’s energy.

 Grounding Nature Walk

Go barefoot in grass or dirt.

Notice birdsong, wind, leaves.

Pick up natural items for your altar: leaves, petals, feathers.

 Make Sun Water

Fill a jar with clean water.

Place it in direct sunlight.

Whisper: “May this water hold the warmth and strength of the sun.”

Use for spells, cleansing, or plant watering.

 Candle or Visualization Ritual

Light a yellow or white candle (or visualize one).

Focus on your intention for growth or release.

Say: “As the sun burns bright, I ignite my dreams and banish my doubt.”
