Embracing the Wild Within: Rituals for Inner Peace

A few nights ago, I had a dream that shook me—one of those sticky ones that lingers in your bones long after you wake up.

In the dream, our house was infested with wild animals—snakes, iguanas, and a blur of other chaotic creatures slithering and skittering through every room. There was a sense of unease crawling under my skin. I couldn’t stop it. I couldn’t control it. I only remember bits and pieces of what happened next, but the ending? That part stayed clear.

I snapped.

In a wave of pure rage, I started destroying the house. Ripping things off the walls. Throwing furniture. Screaming. It was absolute chaos. I was out of control—or maybe, I was finally expressing the control I’d lost in waking life.

When I woke up, my heart was racing. But more than fear, I felt this strange undercurrent of truth. Like my subconscious was trying to show me something buried.

So, I reached for my Angel Dreams Oracle Deck, because when the real world gets loud, I always turn inward.

🔮 The Cards I Pulled

I asked the cards to help me understand the chaos—and the message hidden within it.

  • Amethyst – Psychic Abilities, Behavior Patterns
  • Premonition – Prophecy
  • Dolphin – Cosmic Consciousness, Breath, Sacred Geometry

Immediately, I understood.

This wasn’t just a dream—it was a spiritual purge.

The infestation? The fears, stress, and emotional clutter I’ve been holding in.

The destruction? A symbol of what’s already unraveling inside me.

The dolphin? A reminder to come back to joy, intuition, and my sacred breath.

Sometimes, we think we’re breaking down… but we’re actually breaking free.

🌑 A Ritual for Release: From Chaos to Clarity

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or on the verge of a breakdown (hello, same), I invite you to try this simple ritual I created from that dream. It helped me clear the storm brewing inside—and realign with what matters most.

🌬️ What You’ll Need:

  • A piece of amethyst (or any crystal you love)
  • A bowl of water
  • A candle (white or purple is ideal)
  • A small piece of paper + pen
  • Optional: a drop of lavender or eucalyptus oil

🕯 The Steps:

1. Set the Space

Light your candle. Place your crystal beside the water. Take a few deep breaths and say:

“I am safe. I am held. I release what no longer serves me.”

2. Name the Chaos

Write down the thoughts or emotions that have been “infesting” your peace. Fold the paper and say:

“I see you. I thank you. But you are no longer welcome in my sacred space.”

Burn the paper in a safe dish or tear it up and throw it away.

3. Cleanse & Rebuild

Dip your fingers in the water and touch your third eye, heart, and throat, saying:

“I cleanse my sight, my truth, and my love. I rebuild from intuition, joy, and sacred purpose.”

Swirl the water to symbolize sacred transformation.

4. Close with Breath

Hold your crystal. Inhale for 4… hold for 4… exhale for 4. Repeat.

Say:

“I am rebuilding. I am realigning. I am ready.”

Blow out the candle to seal the ritual.

🖤 Final Thoughts

That dream was wild. But it also felt like a gift.

It reminded me that chaos isn’t always destruction—it’s sometimes the catalyst for something greater. And when life gets messy, sometimes the most spiritual thing we can do is let ourselves break a little… then gather the pieces with intention.
