Every October, our house transforms. One day it’s cozy autumn — cinnamon candles glowing, pumpkins on the porch — and the next, it’s a playful little haunted haven. The shift from fall to Halloween is one of my favorite rituals. It’s not just about decor; it’s about creating an experience, a mood, a feeling of joy and wonder. And honestly, it’s easier (and more affordable) than it might look when everything’s done.

Others become part of the yard decor — stacked or stood up and painted spooky, rustic, and fun. It’s creative, sustainable, and free.

The inside of the house matters just as much to me because I spend so much time here — and I want it to feel like an experience. Some easy but high-impact touches:
