Hi, I’m Lex! I’m 36 years old and living in Sunny California, but my roots stretch back to Michigan, where I was born, and Florida, where I was raised. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, and after spending 15 years in the restaurant industry, I shifted gears and now work in the accounting department of a growing permit company that helps contractors and owner builders expedite permits. While I enjoy what I do, I’m still searching for that perfect niche- something I’m truly passionate about!

Life has been busy and exciting lately as I’m learning how to be a stepmom to my husband’s three wonderful kids. It’s been an incredible journey, but don’t let anyone tell you it’s easy! Life has given me new lessons and lots of love, so I’m grateful for the experience.

When I have some free time, you can usually find me indulging in my favorite hobbies: reading, writing, or getting lost in true crime documentaries and paranormal stories. Traveling and discovering yummy foods are some of my greatest joys, along with spending time with my furry familiar Juggy.

A huge part of my heart belongs to my late mother, who passed away in 2020. She’s a big inspiration behind my writing and my love for the mysterious and unknown. Through my blog, I explore all the things that fascinate me- from true crime to the paranormal- and I hope you’ll enjoy the journey with me!
