A while back, I wrote about becoming an Amazon Associate.
At the time, it felt like a tiny step toward something bigger. A chance to learn, grow, and maybe create an additional income stream doing something I genuinely enjoy.
Today, I wanted to share a little update.
I was recently approved for the Amazon Influencer Program.
And while some people might see that as a small achievement, for me, it represents so much more.
It represents choosing myself.
Again.

What’s the Difference?
When I first joined the Amazon Associates Program, I could share links to products I loved and earn a small commission if someone purchased through those links.
The Amazon Influencer Program takes that one step further.
Now I have my own storefront where I can organize products into categories, create curated lists, and share things that genuinely fit my lifestyle and interests.
Instead of randomly recommending products, I can create a space that reflects me.
- Books I’ve loved.
- Oracle and tarot decks I use.
- Home decor that makes me smile.
- Kitchen gadgets that make life easier.
- Fitness equipment I’m using on my own health journey.
- Travel finds.
- Cat mom favorites for Juggy
The little things that make up my everyday life.
Building Something From Nothing
One thing I’ve learned over the past few years is that building something takes time.
A lot of time.
Most people only see the finished product.
They don’t see the hours spent learning. The mistakes. The failed ideas. The moments when you wonder if you’re wasting your time. The moments when nobody clicks the link. Nobody subscribes. Nobody buys. Nobody comments.
And yet you keep showing up anyway.
Not because you’re guaranteed success, but because you believe success is possible.
That has been my mindset lately.
Whether it’s my blog, my Etsy shop, my YouTube channel, my social media pages, or now my Amazon storefront, I’m slowly planting seeds everywhere.
Some seeds may never grow. Some may surprise me, but I’ll never know if I don’t plant them.

This Isn’t About Getting Rich Overnight
If you’ve followed my journey for a while, you know I work a full-time job.
You know I have responsibilities, bills, debt, family obligations.
The same real-life challenges most people face.
I haven’t suddenly discovered some magical shortcut. I haven’t quit my day job. I haven’t made thousands of dollars overnight.
In fact, my Amazon earnings so far have been incredibly modest.
But that’s not really the point.
The point is that I started. The point is that I took action. The point is that I’m creating opportunities for my future self.
Every blog post. Every video. Every Etsy listing. Every product I add to my storefront. Every skill I learn.
It’s all another brick in a foundation I’m building.
And foundations aren’t glamorous.
They’re built slowly. Quietly. One brick at a time.
What This Means for My Family
When I think about why I’m doing all of this, it’s never really about the money.
Not entirely.
It’s about freedom. It’s about options. It’s about creating something that belongs to me. It’s about building multiple streams of income instead of relying on a single paycheck. It’s about being able to contribute more to my family. It’s about creating opportunities for future adventures, future memories, and future experiences. It’s about proving to myself that I am capable of more.
For years, I’ve had dreams.
Dreams of writing. Dreams of creating. Dreams of helping people. Dreams of turning my passions into something meaningful.
This is one more step toward those dreams.
Not the finish line.
Just another step.

For Anyone Who Feels Like They’re Starting Late
Maybe you’re reading this and wondering if it’s too late.
Maybe you’ve had an idea sitting in the back of your mind for months, or years.
Maybe you’ve wanted to:
- Start a blog
- Launch a business
- Write a book
- Start a YouTube channel
- Sell your artwork
- Open an Etsy shop
- Share your knowledge
- Follow your passion
But fear keeps winning.
I understand. Trust me, I do.
I’ve spent plenty of time doubting myself.
Wondering if anyone cared. Wondering if I was wasting my time. Wondering if I was good enough.
The truth is, most dreams don’t fail because people aren’t talented enough.
They fail because people stop before giving themselves a chance.
Success isn’t always about being the smartest person in the room.
Sometimes it’s simply about being the person who refuses to quit.
Choosing Myself
One lesson I’ve learned recently is that choosing yourself isn’t selfish.
It’s necessary.
Nobody is going to show up and build your dreams for you. Nobody is going to hand you confidence. Nobody is going to magically create the life you want.
You have to choose yourself first. You have to believe in yourself first.
Even when nobody else does. Especially when nobody else does.
And that’s what this Amazon Influencer milestone means to me.
Not that I’ve “made it.” Not that I’ve become successful overnight, but that I continue to show up for myself.
I continue to learn. I continue to create. I continue to believe.
One blog post. One storefront update. One video. One dream. One small step at a time.
And honestly?
I’m excited to see where those small steps lead.

Have you ever started something that felt scary but exciting at the same time? I’d love to hear about it in the comments. Sometimes sharing our dreams is the first step toward making them real.
P.S. If you’d like to browse my Amazon storefront, you’ll find many of my favorite books, wellness tools, home finds, travel essentials, and everyday products that I genuinely use and love. Thank you to everyone who supports my journey—it means more than you know.
