Which celebrity would you love to meet, and what would you talk about?

Some people dream of meeting their favorite actor, musician, or Hollywood superstar. Me? I’d love to sit down with a former detective who somehow manages to do about a hundred different things successfully.
If I could meet one celebrity, I would choose Derrick Levasseur.
Now, I know he might not be the first person who comes to mind when someone mentions celebrities, but hear me out.
Derrick is a former police detective, a private investigator, a true crime personality, a content creator, an entrepreneur, and the winner of Big Brother Season 16.
And that’s just scratching the surface.
As someone who earned a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, I’ve always been fascinated by investigations, criminal behavior, and the process of putting together the pieces of a mystery. So naturally, Derrick’s background in law enforcement caught my attention.
But what really impresses me isn’t just his experience as a detective.
It’s everything he’s managed to accomplish afterward.
Seriously, How Does He Find the Time?
This would probably be one of the first questions out of my mouth.
How?!
How does one person manage to build a private investigation business, create content, work on true crime projects, maintain an online presence, and still have time for an actual life?
Because let me tell you something.
I’m over here trying to manage my blog, grow my social media platforms, create content, work my regular job, and build a few side hustles.
And some days, I feel like I need an additional eight hours just to finish my to-do list.
Meanwhile, I’m looking at everything Derrick has accomplished and thinking, Does this man have access to a secret 36-hour day that the rest of us don’t know about?
If so, I’d really appreciate an invitation.
I’d Want to Talk About More Than True Crime
Don’t get me wrong. I could probably spend hours asking him about his experiences as a detective.
I’d love to hear about the cases that challenged him, what he learned about human behavior, and how his investigative background influences the way he approaches true crime today.
But I’d also want to know about the business side of things.
How did he decide which opportunities were worth pursuing?
How did he build an audience?
Did he ever question whether his next venture would succeed?
And perhaps most importantly, how did he know when it was time to take a chance on something new?
Because that’s something I think about quite often.
I have so many interests and ideas. I love writing, creating content, exploring history, diving into mysteries, and sharing the things that fascinate me.
Sometimes I wonder whether having so many interests is helping me build something unique or making it harder to figure out exactly where I’m going.
I’d be curious to hear how someone like Derrick approaches that.
And Yes, We’d Have to Talk About Big Brother
Here’s the funny part.
I only recently started watching Big Brother this year!
So although I know Derrick won Season 16, I haven’t actually watched his season yet.
And I would absolutely want to talk to him about that experience.
Going from investigating people in the real world to navigating a house full of strangers, alliances, secrets, and strategy sounds like quite the adventure.
I’d be fascinated to know how much his detective experience helped him understand the people around him.
Although, since I haven’t watched his season yet, I’d probably have to ask him to keep some of the details to himself.
I still want to experience it!
Success Is Something I’m Still Working Toward
I think this is the real reason I’d choose Derrick Levasseur.
It’s not simply because he’s successful.
It’s because I respect the work that goes into building that kind of success.
I’m still in the early stages of trying to grow my own little corner of the internet.
I’m writing blog posts, experimenting with different types of content, sharing my interests, and trying to figure out how to turn all that effort into something that might eventually provide a meaningful income.
Some days, I see progress and feel incredibly excited.
Other days, I wonder whether all those hours of creating, editing, writing, and posting will ever turn into something bigger.
And I think that’s why I’d appreciate a conversation with someone who has managed to create opportunities from his interests, experience, and determination.
I’d want to know what the early days looked like.
The struggles. The mistakes. The moments when things finally started clicking.
Because we often see the finished product of someone’s success without seeing everything it took to get there.
Maybe That’s the Biggest Question I’d Ask
If I had the opportunity to sit down with Derrick over a cup of coffee, I think my biggest question would be:
“What advice would you give someone who’s working hard to build something of their own but hasn’t quite figured out how to turn their passion into success?”
Not because I expect him to have some magical formula.
But because sometimes hearing from someone who’s already traveled a road you’re hoping to take can make that road feel a little less intimidating.
I don’t necessarily want to follow in his exact footsteps.
I want to create my own path.
One that allows me to write, investigate the things that intrigue me, share stories, explore new opportunities, and hopefully make a living doing at least some of the things I genuinely enjoy.
And if I can eventually look back and say I built something successful from the ground up?
Well, that would be pretty incredible.
Until then, I’ll keep writing, creating, learning, and occasionally wondering how Derrick Levasseur manages to fit everything into a single day.
And who knows?
Maybe one day I’ll get to ask him myself.
If you could sit down with one celebrity, not just for a photo or an autograph, but for a genuine conversation, who would you choose? And what would you want to learn from them?
