Writing Prompt: What little thing brightened your day?
Well, the Golden State Valkyries are going to have to be close enough to purple for today’s photo challenge! LOL!
The women’s basketball team just won the WNBA championship, and today is all about celebrating their big win!
But while they’re celebrating their victory, I’m celebrating a little victory of my own.
My husband was scheduled to work from home today, which means we BOTH get to work from home together!
And let me tell you, those are my FAVORITE days!
There’s just something about having him home that makes an ordinary workday feel a little better. We can both be busy doing our own things, but knowing he’s nearby makes me happy.
It’s nothing extravagant. No big plans, no fancy surprises, and certainly no championship trophy waiting for me. LOL!
Just a regular Wednesday spent working alongside my favorite person.
And sometimes, that’s more than enough to brighten my day.
Today’s little reminder: Happiness doesn’t always come from the big, exciting moments. Sometimes it’s simply having your favorite person in the next room.
So here’s to celebrating the little wins, finding joy in ordinary moments, and appreciating the people who make our days a little brighter.
